MonteVerdi congratulates Bernard Haitink with his birthday! Last Wednesday, the Dutch maestro reached the respectable age of 80, but Haitink seems unstoppable, conducting all over the world. He just won a Grammy with the Chicago Symphony Orchestras and is about to cross the sea with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra to perform a series of concerts in London.
